A Gilded Past
Not for all the village but the area did attract stately buildings, a number of which still stand and thrive. Their architecture and mature gardens offering pleasure to visitors from near and far, along with a sense of history to the village of Langley
Transport Links
Heathrow and the M25 sit nearby today but Langley has long been close to vital links. The Great Western Railway first passed by in 1838, well before the station you see. The Thames an avenue of trade for millenia, the Grand Union Canal since 1882.
Looking Forward
Much has changed since the mansions and railways were built, Langley has not stood still. The community centre above a symbol of people going forward together, built by them. The educational award one of many in fine local schools.
